The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha announced a few days ago that on July 7, a big national protest is organized against the government led by Edi Rama.
Berisha said that July 7 will be the front for the salvation of Albania and that an important battle will start that must be spread throughout the country.
It seems that with this call, Berisha is uniting the democrats of the parliamentary group.
Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku confirmed that she will be in the square on July 7. At a press conference, Tabaku said that she has been at the forefront of the protests all the time, thus confirming her presence at the rally organized by the leader of the Democrats.
Lushnja MP Saimir Korreshi, who is not part of Sali Berisha's group, is also expected to be part of the protest.
"I will definitely take part, in every protest against this government I will take part ," he said.
According to Vizion Plus, MP Grida Duma has also stated that she will be in Sali Berisha's protest as she says that she is in favor of any rally against the government.
Former political leader of Shkodra district Helidon Bushati has also confirmed that he will be in protest. Tomorr Alizoti has held the same pro-protest stance.
The deputy chairwoman of the law commission, Dhurata Çupi, also confirmed that she will be at the protest rally, emphasizing that she will support any civic reaction against the government.
