"He campaigned with Balili", what Nasip Naço declared for Rama before joining SP
Nasic Naço, former MP and former minister of the SMI, announced the transition to the Socialist Party. This fact was announced by Naço himself, from Berat, while attending the crucifixion ceremony, in the presence of Minister Blendi Klosi.
The former Minister of Justice stressed that he will support the progressive left and, among other things, stated that Albania no longer needs political experiments, but to move forward.
But while the decision comes just months before the April 25 election, Naço has not previously appeared so sympathetic to the political force he joined.
Three years ago, in the studio of Syri.net, he said that Prime Minister Edi Rama is afraid of vetting. Naço said that after the vetting of judges and prosecutors, those who will remain in the justice system will pass to the vetting of the entire political class.
" I do not believe that a citizen is afraid of vetting, but the prime minister is afraid of shouting louder about vetting, but that he has been signing concessions for 5 years without any kind of transparency and violating the laws", said Naço.
He further added that since Rama and many exponents of the SP have campaigned with Balili, by his side, and I think that each of them should be held accountable.
Referring to the SP victory in the June 25 elections, Naço described it as Pirro's victory.
"Pirro also won, but his victory had big losses. If you look at the latest reports, 15-20% of the votes were bought, there were people with weapons in Berat and the police did not react, the SMI electoral headquarters in Berat was surrounded, the night postmen distributed aid and money in Berat and the police did not react. I have denounced all these, criminal charges have been filed " , said Naço.
Also, in another interview given a year later on Fax News, Naço stated that the Justice Reform had failed, as according to him the SP intended to catch the Prosecutor for personal interests.
They wanted to channel this reform to their personal interests. But they did not do the calculations well. I was then the Minister of Justice, who proposed a profound reform to the Assembly, the Prime Minister to take over the situation, because the High Council of Justice did not work. I am not talking about the High Prosecution Council which was a consultative Council.
Therefore, it was requested to slightly change the face of the Prosecution, of the High Judicial Council, to exclude from judicial reform the President of the Republic, the President of the High Court, the General Prosecutor, the President of the Constitutional Court to have and give a vote of confidence complete system of justice, but also citizens and international partners to trust this system ", declared Naço at that time.
