Albanian actor Luran Ahmeti has died at the age of 46 as a result of being infected with Covid-19.
This news was announced by journalist Rilind Gërvalla, through a post on Facebook.
"The virus got a very good friend and patriot. "Luran Ahmeti, let us be indebted", he wrote.
Luran Ahmeti has left no trace only in Albanian cinematography, but also in foreign ones. He has starred in popular TV series in Turkey such as "Valley of the Wolves" and "Suleiman the Magnificent", where he played the role of Kusret Pasha.
Ahmeti left behind a 6-year-old daughter, wife, a sister and parents.
