Having passed Covid twice, actor Matt Ford is now also dealing with monkey pox

The American singer and actor, Matt Ford, who has been infected twice with COVID-19, has explained on social networks that he is facing another disease, monkey pox. He was infected on June 17 after coming into contact with a friend who had tested positive, and that's when he started noticing strange spots on his skin.

“I have monkey pox right now and it's no joke. If you're in New York and can get the shot, go get it,” he tweeted.

"I believe I was exposed to it about a week before symptoms appeared. I started with just a few shots, then developed intense flu-like symptoms. Fever, chills, sweating, fatigue, etc. Then those symptoms subsided and more spots appeared in different places on my body. I didn't even notice some at first, but they quickly became itchy and sore."

"I went to my doctor and they swabbed me in several places. They were sent to the Department of Public Health, who confirmed that I tested positive."
