After the accidental murder in filming, Alec Baldwin gives the first interview: I did not pull the trigger

After the accidental murder in filming, Alec Baldwin gives the first interview:

Actor Alec Baldwin told George Stephanopoulos of ABC News in an exclusive interview that he "had no idea" how a direct bullet went into the shooting of his film, "Rust", but said he "did not pull the trigger" in the firearm, which killed one person and wounded another.

"I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger towards him, ever," Baldwin told Stephanopoulos in a first look at the interview to be broadcast tonight at 8pm on ABC News in America.

"Someone put a real bullet in a gun, a bullet that was not even supposed to be there," he added.

On Oct. 21, Baldwin was carrying an antique revolver during a Western rehearsal at Bonanza Creek Ranch near Santa Fe, New Mexico, when the gun fired, killing filmmaker Halyna Hutchins, and injuring his director, Joel Souza.

In the exclusive ABC News interview, Baldwin, who was starring and co-producing the film, spoke about what happened on filming that fateful day, saying he had no reason to suspect that a real bullet might have been in the supporting weapon. He also spoke with Stephanopoulos about filmmaker Hutchins, 42, who was hit in the chest and died after being airlifted to a hospital.

"I go back and think what could I have done?" said Baldwin. "She was someone who was loved by all those who worked with [her] and liked by all those who worked with [her] and admired her ... I mean, even now I find it hard to believe that [she has gone] does not seem real to me. "

During the interview, the actor cried several times and it seems that he has not yet gone through the post-trauma caused by this event.
