"I know the truth," famous actor says Prince Harry lied

Rupert Everett has his version of Prince Harry's statement about losing his virginity to a "bigger woman in a club".

The "My Best Friend's Wedding" star claimed in an interview with the Telegraph published on Thursday that he knew the truth.

"By the way, I know the woman he lost his virginity to. And it wasn't after a night at the club. And it wasn't in this place," Everett said. "I'm just telling what I know," he added.

A source close to Harry, however, told the publication, "It's amazing that Everett would know such a personal detail better than Prince Harry himself." The Duke of Sussex claimed in his book, Spare, that his first time having sex was "quick", but he did not say when it happened or with whom.

"She loved horses, and treated me not like a young stallion," he wrote.

Rumors have swirled that actress Elizabeth Hurley, who is 19 years Harry's senior, took the prince's virginity when he was a teenager, but she strongly denied the speculation in December, weeks before his book was published. Harry dated businesswoman Chelsy Davy from 2004 to 2011. He was later linked to the late TV presenter Caroline Flack, singer Ellie Goulding and actress Cressida Bonas before meeting his wife Meghan Markle in 2016 .
