He asked for a final agreement, Vucic replied to Kurt: Have a good time in Brussels!
The President of Serbia, Aleksandër Vucic, has responded to the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, making fun of the latter.
Regarding Kurti's statement that he will not go to Brussels just for license plates, but for a final agreement with mutual recognition, Vucic said that the issue of Kosovo's status is closed.
"Has he said that for him the status issue has ended...for me too, the status issue has ended for a long time, in accordance with the UN Charter and UN Resolution 1244. Have a good time in Brussels" , said Vucic, Serbian media write .
Kurti and Vucic failed to reach an agreement on the number plate issue. Kurti rejected the reconciliation as it did not include the issue to be discussed for the final agreement, which according to the Prime Minister of Kosovo, was in the invitation made by the mediators. Two days after the failure of the meeting between the leaders, the chief negotiators reached an agreement.
