Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was asked about Greek-Albanian relations after the opening of the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair.

For the journalists, Mitsotakis said that he wants to have good relations with Albania, but he emphasized the property issue. The Greek Prime Minister said that respecting property rights will be a condition for Albania's integration into the EU.

"We want to have the best possible relations with our neighbors and with Albania. We went through a difficult period, but we feel satisfied that Fredi Beleri is with us in Thessaloniki" , said Mistotakis.

He added that "Greece-Albania relations go through respect for the Greek minority and respect for the property rights of compatriots. This is also a necessary condition for the continuation of Albania's European perspective" , concluded Mitsotakis.
