Heightened Security Measures for US Citizens in Kosovo Remain in Force During

The US Embassy in Pristina has posted on its website a warning for US citizens that during the summer season measures in Kosovo remain heightened, agencies reported on Friday.

The explanation states that the measures remain in force because of the ongoing threat posed by transnational terrorist organizations and individuals inspired by extremist ideology.

The Embassy in Pristina had previously posted similar security warnings on its website, previously on May 31, which also referred to the threat of possible terrorist group activities in the Balkans.
