Italian Prime Minister visits Serbia on Wednesday

The Italian Prime Minister Guiseppe Conte will arrive in Serbia on Wednesday for a one-day visit, during which he will meet with President Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.

“For the first time since coming into office [Conte] is coming to the Western Balkans, and the visit to Serbia is his first bilateral visit to a European country since the beginning of the year”, states Tanjug agency.

Within Conte’s visit, a plenary meeting of the delegations of the governments of the two countries has also been planned.

The last Italian Prime Minister to have visited Belgrade was Mario Monti in 2012.
