Kosovo Opposition will not be part of effort to bring down Haradinaj

The opposition Democratic Alliance of Kosovo (DSK), the Self-Determination Movement and the Social Democratic Party of Kosovo (SDPK) announced that they would not bring down the government if they required for this the help of the Serbian Ticket (SL).

Chief of the DSK MP caucus Abdullah Hoti announced that that party would request a vote of no confidence in the Kosovo government once it secured 61 votes, but also added that he would not accept anyone’s conditioning so as to receive the votes necessary for this.

MP of the Self-Determination movement Rexhep Selimi said that “the government of Ramush Haradinaj was formed with the help of the SL, or rather with the blessing of the government in Belgrade, and that therefore they would not accept to bring it down with their help”.

He said that the Kosovo government should fall, but not because Belgrade wished so but rather when the citizens of Kosovo decided upon it.

Chief of the SDPK MP caucus Dardan Sejdiu said that his party could not cooperate with the SL, or rather with those who call bandits the legitimate representatives of Kosovo and who daily act against Kosovo.
