Kurti: Agreement With Serbia Not Impossible This Year

Reaching an agreement with Belgrade this year is not impossible but there should be no hurry with the epilogue of the dialogue because it could not provide quick results since Serbia is preparing for elections, Kosovo Prime Minister AlbinKurti said on Thursday, news agencies reported.

Kurti told the Voice of America (VOA)  that an agreement could be reached with Belgrade but that he can't predict that at present. He confirmed his readiness for an open and principled dialogue.

Kurti said that even though the US named a special envoy for the dialogue that does not mean that the role of the European Union will pale.
