Media: Germany wants its own Envoy in Serbia-Kosovo Dialogue

Germany and France have initiated talks on the renewal of a new chapter in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and it is expected that they will follow the example of the US by appointing a special representative for the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, electronic media in Pristina carried on Monday.

Even though no concrete candidate has been proposed yet, the sources of  TV Klan Kosova say that Berlin wants for a German official to take on this function and that the official appointment could be announced after the elections in Kosovo.

This television station reminds that the German MP Peter Beyer supported the EU idea to appoint a special envoy for the talks between Belgrade and Pristina.
