Pacolli (AKR) and Limaj (NISMA) Form a Pre-Election Coalition

The New Kosovo Alliance (AKR) and Social Democratic Initiative (NISMA) signed on Friday an agreement on a pre-election coalition, Pristina-based media reported.

A candidate for Prime Minister before this coalition would be the leader of NISMA Fatmir Limaj.

Both parties were a part of an outgoing government led by the leader of Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) Ramush Haradinaj.

Haradinaj said on Thursday that he was open for cooperation with AKR led by the outgoing Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli.

Haradinaj’s party already form a coalition with the Social Democratic Party of Kosovo (PSD) led by Spend Ahmeti, Mayor of Pristina.

Kosovo Parliament enacted on Thursday a decision on Parliament disbanding, a month after Haradinaj resigned.
