Pm Rama: EU Providing 1.2 bln EUR in Financial Support for the Initiative

Albanian PM Edi Rama said that it had been agreed with the European Commission and the World Bank for a document on the development expected from this initiative to be drafted at the next meeting, in Belgrade.

The Commission is prepared to allocate 1.2 bln EUR next year for the countries in the region for the implementation of the agreement, he pointed out.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the European Union, World Bank, State Department, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank and other significant international financial organizations.
