Rama praises citizens for staying home and provides info on vehicles’

In a Facebook posting on Monday night, Prime Minister Edi Rama provide info on the self-quarantining of Albanian citizens who have come from the affected countries, saying that there had been only 22 cases of self-quarantine violations. He praised the Albanian people for their patience, saying that this was the only way possible to defeat the virus. In addition, he published the links provided by the Department of Road Transportation Services (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfrnlzjkZC_YzMahhAwma887HbV66i5P0e6HKBsRSJwn7NA_A/viewform) and the State Police for the vehicles that must circulate for work-related and other purposes.

Electronic media reported on the curfew measures that were introduced as of Monday. Thus, pedestrians, who go out outside after the allowed hours, will be fined ALL 10,000, and, if they own a car, it will be blocked for 3 months. Individuals who break the order to limit movement in parks and other open spaces will be fined ALL 20,000 and, if they own a car, it will be blocked for 3 months. Individuals who go out by bicycle, motorbike or car outside the allowed hours will have their vehicle blocked for 3 months. Citizens who must still go to work can do this only between 6 to 8 a.m. and between 4 to 5 p.m. after receiving a confirmation from the Department of Road Transportation Service in the above link.
