Rita Wilson ndan mesazh mirënjohje pas rikuperimit nga koronavirusi

I ka mbijetuar kancerit të gjirit dhe u prek me COVID-19, Rita Wilson ndan mesazhin domethënës pas rikuperimit nga koronavirusi Aktorja reflektoi në arritjet në jetën e saj që “nuk do ishte e mundur pa një shëndet të mirë.” Rita Wilson dhe bashkëshorti i saj Tom Hanks ishin ndër të parët  - të famshëm – që u prekën me koronavirus. Tre javë më vonë, Wilson ka shprehur mirënjohjen që ndjen për shëndetin e saj, pasi u shërua nga koronavirusi. Aktorja zgjodhi datën – 29 mars- si një “kohën e lumturisë së madhe” në jetën e saj. “Unë isha në Broadway duke luajtur me Larry David me lojën e tij Fish in the Dark oara se të zbuloja se isha diagnostikuar me kancer gjiri,”- shkroi aktorja. Këtë vit, kjo datë shënon pesë vite të qenit pa kancer pas një mastektomie të dyfishtë për Wilson: “Unë jam shumë mirënjohëse për shëndetin tim, për mjekët, infermierët, miqtë dhe familjen që më mbështetën gjatë kësaj kohe.” Aktorja ndau po ashtu ngjarje të shënuara në këtë datë dhe arritjet e saj në karrierë – si yllin në Hollywood Walk of Fame apo linçimin e albumit Halfway - por vuri theksin se asnjë prej këtyre arritjeve nuk do të ishte e mundur pa shëndetin e saj. “Kështu që sot, 29 mars, unë po festoj bukurinë e kësaj jete, bekimet që Zoti më ka dhënë dhe shëndetin tim të mirë, edhe tani si një e mbijetuar e COVID-19.”

This date, March 29, represents a time of great happiness. I was on Broadway starring with Larry David in his play Fish In The Dark before finding out I had been diagnosed with breast cancer. March 29 also marks five years of being cancer free after having had a bilateral mastectomy. I am so thankful for my health, for the doctors, nurses, friends and family who got me through that time. You, online friends, also need to be thanked because your prayers and optimism were felt deeply. And, so thankful for the blessings God has bestowed on me, then and now. One year ago on March 29, I was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a street, that as a child, I’d walk on an read all the names of the stars I admired, never believing one day my name would be on one of those stars. And one year ago today, I released my fourth album, Halfway to Home. Every day I get to make music is a gift. So much has happened musically in that one year. So much goodness. All of this would not be possible without good health. So, today, March 29, I am celebrating the beauty of this life, the blessings God has given , and my continued good health, even now as a COVID 19 survivor. Please take a moment today to acknowledge the amazing creation your bodies are and to thank it for doing so much.
