Roman Catholic Archbishop: Albanian Politicians Should Think About Common Good

The Roman Catholic Primate of Albania, Archbishop of Tirana and Durrës George Frendo, called on Albanian politicians to think of the common good, in view of the increasing numbers of youth leaving the country for better opportunities abroad.

“The political parties must be willing to listen to one another, not have a caricature of a dialogue. We did not like the refusal to open [European Union] negotiations either, but let us take it in the positive aspect and let it serve us to make a fairer Albania,” Archbishop Frendo said from Shkodra.
