Serbia: 93 Million Euros Earmarked for Kosovo Serbs

Serbia’s 2020 budget proposal foresees allocating eleven billion dinars or 93 million euros for institutions and the population of Kosovo.

Of the 7.5 billion dinars (63.5 million euros), which is the amount of the Kosovo Office budget for 2020, two-thirds of 4.98 billion dinars (42 million euros) will be channeled into financing institutions and organizations in Kosovo.

Of this amount, 4.3 billion dinars (36 million euros) will be allocated to local self-governments; educational institutions will receive 363,734.00 dinars (around 3 million euros) and medical institutions – 19,500,000 (165.000 euros).

A total of 2.5 billion dinars (21 million euros) will be allocated to projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the Serb and non-Albanian population.
