Special Court Summons More than 100 Former UÇK Members

The office of the Special Prosecutor for Crimes of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UCK) has addressed more than 100 subpoenas to former members of this formation, but their names have not been revealed, media in Pristina report on Tuesday.

President of the association of war veterans Hisni Gucati declared that they are not authorized to disclose their names. He confirmed that many of those who have been summoned to The Hague, where the court seats, will go there in April. Gucati said he does not know the exact number of calls, but that there are more than one hundred of them.

The special court has been created to investigate crimes committed by members of the UCK between 1998 and 2000.
