Thaci: Momentum Should be Used to Reach Final Agreement

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said on Wednesday that his visit to the US and his meeting with Vucic were encouraging, adding that the current momentum should be used to reach a final agreement.

He said that Kosovo is committed to reaching an agreement with Serbia which would include mutual recognition.

Thaci said the meeting in Washington was encouragement for both sides, an expression of goodwill to achieve peace in Kosovo and Serbia and for economic development and better living standards.

He said that Kosovo and Serbia trust the US leadership to take them along the road to a final agreement.
