The USA Does not Support Kurti’s Decision

 The US envoy for Kosovo Richard Grenell said on Friday that the USA would not support Kurti’s decision on partial canceling of tariffs and conditioning it, as well as that these tariffs must be completely canceled.

On his Twitter profile, he wrote that Kurti was making a serious mistake and that this was also clearly said to Kosovo President Hashim Thaci in the White House.

EU officials have praised Kurti’s decision and emphasized that this would be the first step and that they were expecting more details about it.

EU believed that too much time was lost and that the trust must be urgently repaired. Serbia and Kosovo must create the environment suitable for the continuation of the dialogue, for the benefit of both sides, the message from Brussels stated.
