Tirana Municipality at work to disinfect capital

The Tirana Municipality is currently at work to disinfect the city in an effort to halt the spread of COVID-19. The disinfection works were initially being carried out during the night hours, and now are also carried out during daytime. Democratic Party Spokesperson Ina Zhupa dispelled the disinfection operations as another show set in stage by the Socialist Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

She called for daily disinfection operations that cover all the capital’s remote streets and neighbourhoods. Interviewed by electronic media, Mayor Veliaj said that a package of measures is being drafted at present to assist the businesses that are being affected by the COVID-19-related curfew introduced by the government
