The US Embassy sent a message to Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic to think about his actions, Radio Free Europe (RFE) reported.
The US Embassy in Belgrade thus responded to the journalist question after Dacic’s pointless action – writing Kosovo is Serbia motto on a one hundred Dollar bill.
“Instead of destroying a bill with the image of a great American scientist and statesman Benjamin Franklin, Minister Dacic could perhaps think about his statement: “Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors”, US Embassy in Belgrade stated.
Dacic previously joined the so-called “internet Instagram challenge” and wrote “Kosovo is Serbia” and signed his name in Cyrillic on a 100 American Dollar bill (see V.I.P. issue 5020).
A pro-regime TV Pink reported on Thursday that the whole event was organized by the owner of a Belgrade-based “Korcagin” restaurant and that allegedly more than 7,000 people joined the action so far. The challenge includes to write “Kosovo is Serbia” motto on foreign bills and then play with it for something and record that with a selfie photo.
