Serbia was grateful to Palestine for its support to Serbia in the case of Kosovo status, and this support was of extreme importance because Palestine was a very reputable country, not only in the Muslim world but also elsewhere, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Thursday after the meeting with his Palestinian counterpart Riyad Al-Maliki.

“In that regard, there is also no change in our view of the status of Jerusalem. (…) We are against unilateral solutions and support revitalization of the peace process in the Middle East”, Dacic said.

Dacic and Al-Maliki signed in Belgrade an agreement on canceling visas for diplomatic and official passport owners. Serbia and Palestine have signed also an agreement on cooperation between the Serbian Ministry of Sports and Palestinian Higher Council for Youth and Sports.

President Aleksandar Vucic also had a separate meeting with Al-Maliki on Thursday.
