Vucic: How We Made Enemies Out of Our US Allies

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday that Serbs should see where they made a mistake and think how, “out of such magnificent alliance in both world wars, they have turned Americans into great enemies”, Insajder web portal reported.

He also called Americans to ask themselves whether they have “sacrificed some of their biggest and most loyal allies in the area of former Yugoslavia over their global conflicts with some other great powers”.

Vucic said in the village of Pranjani, at the ceremony of marking of 75th anniversary of Operation Halyard in World War II that Serbia wanted friendly relations with the USA.

Operation Halyard was a great operation of saving the shot-down American and allied pilots in 1944 when more than 500 pilots were evacuated.
