Vucic: No Summit in Paris, Kosovars Are To Blame

There is 99 percent probability that the summit in Paris will not take place, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced as a guest on Thursday in the morning program of the commercial TV Pink, owned by one of the most fervent supporters of the Serbian president.

For the almost certain cancellation of the meeting in Paris, which had been scheduled for July 1, Vucic blamed the Kosovo Albanians. He said that the meeting might take place, if "by some miracle" Albanians behaved responsibly, but he thinks that this will not happen and that the realistic chances for that are lower than one percent.

He reiterated for who knows what time his statement that it was impossible to negotiate with Albanians because "they want to get everything and Serbia nothing", and they do not even want to abolish taxes or fulfill any of their obligations.

"Serbia is ready to continue the dialogue, but only when taxes are abolished. Serbia has behaved constructively and seriously, but it does not want to start the negotiations in which it has to say in advance that it will sign independence", Vucic said.

He added that Albanians did not want dialogue, but that the whole process was governed by the Americans and no one else. This message was well understood by the Germans and the French. He added that French President Emanuel Macron would arrive in Belgrade mid-July and that he would be "well-received".
