From high prices to corruption, what are the main problems of Albanians before

As part of the first measurement related to the political elections of May 11, 2025, from January 15-30, 2025, MRB-Hellas and Datacentrum carried out the data collection process with 1,600 citizens.

According to the latest Euronews Albania Barometer measurements, the country's main problems are: high prices, cost of living, corruption, unemployment and emigration.

Compared to the same period before the general elections, 4 years ago in January 2021, the main problems have changed almost completely.

In 2021 the three main problems were unemployment, corruption, and healthcare, while today they are high prices and the cost of living.

Corruption continues to remain at the top of the list of problems for Albanians, but in 4 years, half of Albanians consider it such.

Has the government done enough about the two main problems: high prices and the cost of living? Citizens are divided as follows:

27.9% of them think that the government has done more or as much as it could have done based on the country's economy.

On the other hand, 41.3% of citizens think that the government has done little about prices and the cost of living, considering the opportunities it has had, and 30.8% of them think that the government has done nothing to address these two main problems despite having had the opportunity to solve them.
