American journalist Tyler O'Neil has spoken about George and Alex Soros' connections in Albania, as well as the abuse of USAID funds.

In an interview with journalist Blendi Fevziu in "Opinion", O'Neil said that from the information he has, Albania is the center of the Soros Foundation for the Balkan region.

Tyler O'Neil mentioned the close ties between George and Alex Soros with Prime Minister Edi Rama, saying that the Soros duo chose Albania as the first test case for their money and operations.

CONVERSATION:

Blendi Fevziu: Mr. O'Neil, where did you get this information regarding Soros' involvement in the East-West Management Institute? The Albanian Prime Minister has stated that Soros was never involved in declaring Mr. Berisha persona non grata.

Tyler O'Neil: I have no concrete evidence of Soros' involvement in declaring Berisha persona non grata. What I do know is that critics make such connections and these connections are there. As for the funding of the East-West Institute of Management, the sources come directly from the United States government. The East-West Institute of Management also lists the Open Society Foundation as one of its donors, having a very long relationship with each other. It is not difficult to make such connections based on these bases.

Blendi Fevziu: How great has been the influence of George Soros, his foundation, or his son Alex Soros on the United States administration during Biden's presidency?

Tyler O'Neil: It's had a huge impact. Not only do we see Alex Soros consistently campaigning with Vice President Kamala Harris and other top Democrats running for office, but we've also seen many different organizations funded by George Soros, through the Open Society Foundations, making various calls, having an impact on policy within the Biden administration in terms of the US Department of Justice, the crackdown on oil and gas, opening the southern border to allow immigration in large numbers. We also saw that in the final days of the Biden administration, President Biden awarded George Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award, and Alex Soros received it on behalf of his own father.

Blendi Fevziu: Alex Soros has visited Albania very often and considering the importance of the country this seems a bit strange. Do you have any information on why the relations between Soros and Albania, Albania and other neighboring countries such as Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro are so strong?

Tyler O'Neil: My sources indicate that George and Alex Soros seem to have chosen Albania as the first test case for their money, operations and efforts to change the way government works in Eastern Europe. Albania is very high on the radar. You also have to consider that George and Alex Soros have very close relationships with the Albanian Prime Minister.

Blendi Fevziu: Do you think that Soros' center for the region is Albania?

Tyler O'Neil: That's what my sources told me. Yes.

Blendi Fevziu: Apart from the Soros Foundation, what information do you have about USAID's investments in Albania? Do we have any investigation or more information?

Tyler O'Neil: The most connections I found there are through the East-West Management Institute and the reforms they have promoted in Albania and the funding provided by Soros to that Institute. However, there are many other organizations that have been financially dependent on the Open Society Foundations and other Soros groups that operate there in Albania.
