Ilir Meta and Erion Veliaj are being held in prison without official charges.

SPAK has officially indicted Benet Beci since October of last year, charging him with corruption in tenders.

But Mr. Beci continues to be in office, at the head of the most important municipality in the North. The strange world of justice. After all, this is the work of lawyers. Now we have another problem.

In April, the prosecutor had a final deadline to decide on Beci's case. Either close it and drop the charges, or take him to trial.

What did the prosecutor do?
Three weeks before the elections, he requested an extension of the deadline. But without any noise and without any notice at all, unlike what usually happens. Campaign time.

This time, I believe they will say that we agreed with the FBI and American partners to silently extend the investigation deadline. That there were some Harvard professors there, who also received some money from that tender.

"There's 800 to split. 500 for the professors, 300 for us with two classes," Vis Berberi said in a message to Beci. And the tender was fixed just like that.

So the inaction was agreed upon with the FBI and American partners and has nothing to do with the elections.

But here we have another problem. We are running out of world governments. Because the Italians delayed us for the Durres gang. Here the FBI delayed us.

We'll postpone it another two or three times with the Germans, the English, and the French. Then we'll be told that we've agreed with the Chinese authorities.

Now why is this whole story a problem? If in a football match, a player is sent off and the referee doesn't show it, is this called result manipulation? Of course it is.

Then why is Berisha not right to say that the elections in Shkoder were manipulated when the mayor was pro-red?
