Donald Trump convenes cabinet after Israeli attacks on Iran

US President Donald Trump has called a cabinet meeting at the White House following Israeli attacks on Iran, CNN reports.

"Trump and senior White House officials were expecting Israeli strikes on Iran this evening," CNN writes.

In a press conference yesterday, the US president had said that "the attack was possible", but had also urged Israel not to carry it out.
