Bushati: We have moved from democracy to an autocratic form, we risk

Analyst Andi Bushati commented on the political situation in Albania.

Invited to the MCN, he described the state as a regime that has transitioned from democracy to an autocratic, even dictatorial form.

In his analysis, Bushati emphasized that the state has moved beyond an autocratic regime and has taken on dimensions that can be described as dictatorial.

"There are many cases that show that we are in an autocratic system, which can even lead to dictatorship. 

 This process is increasingly visible, especially with the efforts to appropriate justice and control state institutions by a single government.

"Are we close to Putin, Erdogan and Aliyev? Or are we in a regime closer to Western democracies like Germany, France or Italy? this is a key question to understand what regime we live in ," Bushati said.
