Plenary session in the Parliament on Monday, what will be discussed?

The Albanian Parliament will meet on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM, in a plenary session, where one of the important draft laws in the field of energy and construction is expected to be reviewed: the Draft Law "On the Energy Performance of Buildings".

The order of the Speaker of the Assembly, Elisa Spiropali, emphasizes that the session will take place within the framework of the work calendar for the period May 29 - June 18, 2025, and in addition to discussing the draft law, issues outside the agenda will also be reviewed.

The full agenda is as follows:

Approval of the minutes of the plenary session of 5.6.2025.
Announcements from the Assembly.
Review of the draft law "On the energy performance of buildings".
Discussions on issues outside the agenda.
The session comes after a week of absence, as no parliamentary meeting was held last Thursday due to the official visit of Speaker Spiropali to Ukraine.

The announcement emphasizes that the Assembly services are tasked with the preparation of parliamentary documentation, as well as with notifying MPs through electronic means, in accordance with Articles 7 and 27/1 of the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly.

We recall that the draft law on the energy performance of buildings is part of efforts to improve construction standards and increase energy efficiency, in line with the country's commitments to green policies and EU integration.
