Fierce clashes in the Middle East between Israel and Iran have been the focus of media headlines in recent days. Just a day ago, the two countries intensified attacks on each other, destroying dozens of nuclear facilities and military bases.

Meanwhile, it is reported that five Albanian citizens are in Israel while the attacks continue. It was the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs that stated that 5 Albanians are in Tel Aviv, but so far there are no reports of injuries.

The official announcement states that the Ministry is in constant contact with the authorities, while emergency phone numbers have been made available to contact the Albanian Embassy there.

"The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs is following with special priority and attention the situation of Albanian citizens in Israel, affected by recent developments.

So far, there are no reports of Albanian citizens being injured or harmed.

Currently, five Albanian citizens are registered in Israel: three with tourist status and two with temporary residence.

Our embassy in Tel Aviv is in constant contact with them. All are in good health, are informed and are following the safety instructions of the Israeli authorities.
