The 34-year-old Albanian, Romeo Nazifi, who was wanted by Greek authorities for a violent incident that occurred in Athens, has surrendered to the Police. Nazifi was wanted by Greek authorities after a violent incident that occurred on June 7, when, together with two other people, he was filmed hitting a public cleaning worker.

The incident occurred late at night in the Agios Nikolas area, when a vehicle with three passengers attempted to overtake a cleaning truck. After failing to do so, the three young men got out of the vehicle and assaulted the cleaning worker with their fists. Greek media also published footage of the violence.

Local media reports that Nazifi appears to be a person with a criminal record. He has a long history of involvement in criminal activities, being accused of theft, drugs, robbery, car theft, domestic violence, threats and bodily harm. He also had a previous incident in 2022, when he was injured with a gun in Burnazi.

After surrendering to the police, Nazifi is expected to appear in court, where it will be decided whether an arrest warrant will be issued against him.
