Tritan Shehu

Democratic Party MP Tritan Shehu commented on Friday on the tense situation between the US and Iran over the ban on nuclear weapons. In an interview with Syri TV, Shehu said that this is a typical case where agreements fail.

According to Shehu, the current situation is extremely worrying and constitutes a global danger, which could escalate into a third world war.

"Of course, conflicts are always undesirable. Conflicts always occur when diplomacy, dialogue, and agreements fail or are lacking. Here we have such a case that is very long. The dialogue between the US and Iran to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon is not going well.

The World and Nuclear Agency has declared that Iran has not respected the packages and has exceeded the spaces allowed in previous agreements. We are dealing with a typical case where agreements fail. This is a very bad signal not only for those two countries, but also for the world as a whole that is involved in a series of conflicts. These conflicts can be called the third world war,” said Shehu.
