"The Horror of Turin"/ 8 Albanians arrested, accused of 68 house

Eight Albanian nationals have been arrested by Italian authorities on suspicion of being members of a criminal group that terrorized residents of the Turin hills. They are accused of 68 cases of house robberies that occurred between January 2024 and March 2025.

According to investigations coordinated by Italian authorities and published by the ANSA agency, the gang operated with a well-organized hierarchical structure. They used vehicles registered in the names of other people to avoid identification and had dedicated accomplices to store the stolen goods.

The operation that led to their arrest was finalized after one of the recent robberies, when part of the group was caught red-handed by the Carabinieri of the Chieri company. At least some of the arrested are already in prison in Turin for other criminal offenses.
