NAME/ He hit 5 pedestrians, the 39-year-old man was arrested by the police in Kamëz

A 39-year-old man, who performed dangerous maneuvers with his Audi, hit five pedestrians on Halit Haxhija Street in Tirana.

After the accident, he abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene, but was quickly caught by police and placed in handcuffs.

The pedestrians received medical assistance and are out of danger. Përparim Bilja was arrested.

The materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further investigation.

Police announcement:

The 39-year-old man made dangerous maneuvers with his vehicle on the road, hit 5 pedestrians, abandoned the vehicle at the scene of the accident and fled. He was caught and put in handcuffs.

The "Audi" vehicle was impounded and the 39-year-old was given an additional measure of driving license revocation.

Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 5, in cooperation with traffic services, captured and arrested citizen PB, 39 years old, resident of Kamëz.

Yesterday, on "Halit Haxhija" street, citizen PB, driving an "Audi" vehicle, performed dangerous maneuvers and as a result the vehicle left the road, hitting 5 citizens (pedestrians), who received medical assistance at the hospital and are out of danger.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
