Elections/ Kosovo State Prosecutor detains 5 people for violating the free

The Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica has registered two different cases related to criminal offenses against voting rights.

Initially, four people were detained, due to the well-founded suspicion that their actions committed the criminal offense: "Violation of the free determination of voters", under Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

A person has also been detained, due to the well-founded suspicion that the same person, through his actions, has committed the criminal offense: “Violation of the free determination of voters”, from Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo. The State Prosecutors, who are in custody today, will act urgently in each case that may arise in order to prevent possible abuses during this electoral process.


The State Prosecutor once again invites the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, all political entities, institutions or various organizations, to report to the relevant prosecutors any case in which they suspect that the vote is being misused or manipulated in any way and by anyone.
