Left off the lists, the socialist MP: My contribution was not appreciated

Socialist Party MP, Denis Deliu, has reacted regarding his exclusion from the lists of candidates for MPs in the May 11 parliamentary elections.

He added that due to his work and contribution, he had expected to be on the open list, while the decision regarding the closed list had been previously clarified by Prime Minister Rama.

"To be honest, I wasn't expecting it 100%, but given my military background, I'm prepared for anything. The lists are part of a vision that doesn't always happen the way you think."

For my work and contribution, I expected to be on the open list, because the prime minister made it clear that we would not be on the closed list.

 I think the prime minister and the leadership have thought of something better. I have had offers from political opponents, but I cannot imagine switching to another party.

 "I believe in the SP and its values," Delia told News24.
