The Muslim Community of Albania has reacted to the concerns of believers regarding the non-implementation of the Eid prayer schedule in Skanderbeg Square.

In an official response, KMSH accepted responsibility for the delay, describing it as a technical communication problem.

The religious institution apologized for the situation and asked for the understanding of believers, while once again congratulating them on the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Reaction to the believers' concerns regarding the Eid prayer in Skanderbeg Square

The Muslim Community of Albania, taking responsibility for the failure to implement the Eid prayer schedule concisely according to the previously announced announcement, shares the legitimate concerns of the believers. This is an event that has occurred for the first time in the organization of Eid, which was caused by technical communication reasons in Skanderbeg Square.

In addition, we express the following explanation of how believers should act in this case.

In history, it has happened many times that some of the believers did not reach the Eid prayer. This also happened during the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him), where Anas b. Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) did not reach the Eid prayer. The Prophet (peace be upon him) told him to pray the prayer at home individually or collectively with his family, without delivering a sermon. And Anas b. Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) prayed the Eid prayer with his family.

Most jurists, based on this "hasan" narration found in Ibn Abu Shaybah's work al-Musannaf and the opinion shared by Ibn Abbas, Ibn Mas'ud, and Ali Ibn Abu Talib (may Allah be pleased with them), have stated that whoever was unable to pray the Eid prayer with the congregation of believers can pray it, in the traditional form, individually or together with family members.

Any believer who has not managed to pray the Eid prayer today can perform it as Anas b. Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) did, on the first day of Eid or the second day in the forenoon, starting about 30 minutes after sunrise until about 30 minutes before the noon meal begins.

Expressing our apologies for the occasion in question, we ask for your valuable understanding. We wish you once again a Happy Eid al-Fitr!
