The head of the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission for the May 11 parliamentary elections, Lamberto Zannier, has arrived in Tirana.
It is learned that Zannier held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, while at 2:00 PM he is expected to hold a meeting with the State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi.
On May 12 at noon, the day after the elections, the preliminary report of the election mission is expected, which will be followed a few months later by the final report.
Zannier previously served in Kosovo as the head of UNMIK's mission from 2008 to 2011, a post he left after being appointed Secretary General.
