The famous "Home Alone" actor, Macaulay Culkin, recounts traumatic

In a recent interview with Kate and Oliver Hudson's "Sibling Revelry" podcast, Macaulay Culkin openly expressed his anger and frustration with his father, Christopher "Kit" Culkin, with whom he has had no contact for nearly 30 years. The 44-year-old actor opened up about his traumatic childhood experiences, noting that one of his earliest memories is of him vowing not to treat his child the way his father treated him.

Culkin has explained that, now that he is a father to two children, Dakota and Carson, with his partner Brenda Song, he feels a deep void within himself, reflecting on his father's behavior. He calls him "crazy," adding that he and his siblings want nothing to do with him.

One of the most sensitive moments he mentioned was when, as a minor, he asked to leave his father and was willing to face the consequences of a court order to not visit a father he considered abusive. Culkin has said, "I told my lawyer, I'm not going to do this. I dare the judge to put me in jail because I don't want to visit my abusive father."

In 2021, he spoke about how his father hid the papers showing the amounts of money he earned, keeping him unaware of his wealth while his mother struggled to support the family. He also recalled difficult times when he and his family were at risk of becoming homeless due to their financial situation.

Culkin first publicly lashed out at his father in a 2018 interview with Marc Maron's podcast, calling him a "bad person" who was physically and psychologically abusive. He stressed that, after these experiences, he had achieved far more than his father ever could have.

Keith Culkin, Macaulay's father, who lives far away from all his children, made a rare statement to the Daily Mail in 2016, saying he no longer considered his son.
