Suspended from duty 4 days ago, Jonaid Myzyri appears before the Criminal Court

Jonaid Myzyri, who was suspended from his position as chairman of the Public Procurement Commission (KPP) four days ago (June 30), appeared before the Criminal Court of Kosovo (GJKKO) this Friday morning. Myzyri is expected to be briefed on the security measure.

The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, SPAK, has requested an obligation to appear before the judicial police, after Myzyri was indicted last week for the criminal offense of "Violation of equality of participants in public tenders or auctions", committed in collaboration.

According to SPAK, Myzyri and seven other officials favored a consortium of operators during a procurement procedure, which submitted forged documents.
