Edi Rama's meeting on Thursday morning at the Municipality of Vlora was seen as a surprise visit, which would focus on municipal affairs and May 11th.

The meeting, which took place behind closed doors, brought a wave of dismissals, ordered by Rama himself. The leader of the Socialists was highly critical of Mayor Ermal Dredha, a tension that was also seen at the 34th anniversary celebration of the Socialist Party, when they were seen debating.

During the meeting, Rama delivered a harsh message, demanding the dismissal of the municipality director and the leaders of the PS branch in Vlora.

"From this moment on, you are all dismissed. The Mayor must immediately sign the dismissals," Rama is reported to have declared.

Candidate for MP, Klevis Kaso, was appointed chairman of the Socialist Party in Vlora, while Eriona Ismaili was appointed co-chairman.
