Lawyer Arbër Hoxha declares that the extreme media coverage of the case of the abuse of the 12-year-old girl in Fier does not serve the fair trial of the case and creates pressure on the court and the defense attorneys.
He stated on the Now show on Euronews Albania that the girl's statement is not sufficient and that medical and psychological expertise of the victim and the suspected perpetrator is awaited.
The lawyer suspected that there may have been an environmental wiretap between the father and daughter or the victim's father and mother at the police station, which is a valuable procedural tool for the investigation.
