'The scheme started 6 months ago', Korreshi: SPAK to investigate

Democratic Party MP Saimir Korrieshi made strong accusations about the May 11 election process, which he described as an electoral farce with serious consequences in the city of Lushnja.

"The consequences of the rampant theft in Lushnje are huge. In fact, talking about theft is an understatement, because this is not theft - this is an organized crime in terms of electoral theft. We are dealing with such a perfect organization of the theft machinery," Korrieshi declared on Syri TV.

He added that he had warned about this scheme in the first days after the elections were announced, although at that time, according to him, many did not believe it and were still involved in discussions about the candidates.

"I spoke in parliament. In the Fier region, over 1,200 people have arrived with passports from Tirana, and if you look carefully, most of them are heads of ministries and OSHEE. It is a scheme prepared six months ago, to increase the number of voters in centers that were at risk of closure, like the one in Mazh," he said.

The Democratic MP emphasized that this is an issue that should be investigated by SPAK, as we are dealing with a flagrant electoral crime.

"If SPAK is going to take electoral crimes seriously, there is a flagrant case here. Entire families have been displaced for electoral purposes. The rental contracts of these individuals should be obtained and it should be verified whether they have been declared in taxes," Korrieshi stressed.
