Turkey against the "Bektashi state" in Albania: Give up this idea!

Turkey has officially requested our country not to move forward with the idea of ​​creating a Bektashi state. This request came through the head of the Turkish Foreign Affairs Commission, Fuat Oktay, who is currently on a visit to Tirana.

Ankara officially asked the Albanian government not to move forward with the creation of a Bektashi state and also to stop the initiative presented by Prime Minister Rama for a religious republic within the Albanian state.

This request was conveyed to the Albanian side by the head of Turkey's Foreign Affairs Committee, Fuat Oktay, who this Monday began a series of meetings in Tirana at the head of a delegation of Turkish lawmakers.

The Turkish side's position on this topic was revealed to MCN by opposition MP Kreshnik Çollaku, according to whom the position of the Turkish state is in line with the Albanian opposition.

Even at this meeting, the Turkish delegation reiterated the request to cleanse the country of those it considers members of Fetullah Gulen's organization.
