A cell phone was found during a search of Laert Haxhiu's cell in Drenova prison.
The inspection was carried out following information provided by the Internal Control and Anti-Corruption Service (ICAS).
Authorities are expected to take disciplinary measures against Haxhiu.
Laert Haxhiu is accused of being the author of the Lushnja Massacre. He was extradited on July 3rd of last year from Greece, a year after he was arrested.
