A father and son have been arrested in the village of Mezhgoran in Tepelena, after allegedly planting 194 narcotic plants near their home.
Citizens M. C, 64 years old, and E. C, 35 years old, have been arrested, accused of illegal cultivation of narcotic plants.
During the search of the area, police seized a small amount of plants as material evidence, while the rest was destroyed at the scene by burning.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastra.
